Obituary for Elfriede Wilma Schalck

Elfriede Wilma "Freddie" Schalck of Warwick died Tuesday December 11, 2018 at home with her family by her side.

She was the loving wife of the late Warren Wehrt Schalck with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Brooklyn, lived in Long Island before moving to Southampton Pennsylvania, finally settling in Heritage Creek.

After raising her children, she worked and retired from the Internal Revenue Service.

Freddie was a member of Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of various church organizations including Welcome Wagon, Wagoneers, and the Red Hat Society. Some of her pastimes included cards, reading and traveling.

A lifelong artist, she enjoyed drawing, sculpture, painting and many crafts.

Freddie is survived by her daughters Linda Riddell and her husband Dave, of Warminster, Brenda Hamilton and her husband Billy, of Merchantville, NJ; her son Warren and his wife Arlene, of Warminster; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. During the last seven months of her life, she was blessed to be cared for in her home by her caregiver/friend/angel, Joan Williams.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family after 10 am, Friday December 14 in Lehman United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Rd, Hatboro, where her memorial service will be held at 11 am. Her interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
